We hear again and again in the media (television, radio, and newspapers) that police officers or An individual in a stress situation may improperly use his firearm or other less-lethal weapon, or they might injure themselves with one of these devices. Such a scenario cannot occur with our equipment. Or the suspect complained that he was tortured with a self-defense device.
The “pro’s” for using LLLW (Lightning Less Lethal Weapons) and a list of other self-defense items and their risks:
1. Pepper spray is potent for hours and hours
2. Hitting someone with a baton breaks bones
3. Using a knife or a firearm can cause serious of fatal damage
4. Stun guns can significantly hurt a person (cardiac infarction reportedly is one example)
5. LLLW – If you can not see anything, you can not attack or defend yourself
The Raider is designed to end the confrontation. When it’s over, it’s over With the LLLW concept we return to the basics for any law enforcement or private person: you need a few self-defense (hand-to-hand combat) techniques to support them but the major job makes the use of LLLW devices easy.
LLLW (Lightning Less Lethal Weapons): a Law Enforcement/Prison Guards/City Police and Military solution
LLLW devices will be there use where you can not use live explosives or firearms, for example, in airplanes, public places, gas stations, chemical labs, schools/universties, trains/subways, etc. One of our solutions to this is the B.A.D., the only electronic flashbang in the world. A well-trained SWAT team needs several seconds in order to enter a room and to take control. A flashbang (for example, one containing magnesium which is flammable) burns at a temperature of approximately 3,100 °C (5,610 °F) and the auto-ignition temperature of magnesium ribbon is approximately 630 °C (1,166 °F) in air. It produces intense, bright, white light when it burns. Magnesium’s high burning temperature makes it a useful tool for starting emergency fires during outdoor recreation or pyrotechnics (like a flashbang) so there is no chance to use one and then retrieve it. With the B.A.D. we don’t want to replace the flashbang: we instead try to offer the operator a new option to stop an active shooter or to end a hostage situation without any risk to the hostage or the criminal. We also offer a complete line of mounts for mounting our LLLW flashlights or the Raider EX onto rifles and pistols which gives the operator the opportunity to temporarily blind the attacker and step out of the line of attack.
